Discussion ...
One of my friends have left me an interesting comment for my post about 9/11; I would be glad to hear your ideas about my statement and Farhad's comment; are you agreed or disagreed; and if so, why?
Post: September 11
Three years ago at 8:45 a.m. EDT on the morning of September 11, 2001, the first of four hijacked planes, American Airlines Flight 11, crashes into the north tower of the World Trade Center; It is now three years past, thousands of Americans have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in a war against terrorism, to protect the world not just America; but it still exists and it is a long way to go in order to make the world free of terrorists. We; people of the Islamic world, let's put our hands together to bring faith to our hearts and do not let anyone to use our religion, belief and heritage to hurt innocent people. Come to defend our beliefs and prove it that Islam is a religion of peace and faith, and those who does such a barbaric attack do not practice Islam and are not Muslim.
Farhad Taghibakhsh's comment
Dear Seyed, I read your nice words. I'm sure most of the people of the world wish a peaceful world, without terrorism, war, and ... Hope we try to have such a world and see it in our lives, as you are a man of science, thought and value, let me ask you a question: Have you ever read Quran (completely)? It says: "Kill 'kuffar' where ever you find them!No matter who 'kuffar' are, do you think this is a "right" statement? Is that a decent statement to be found in a holy book? There are lots of strange statements like this or even worse. If you like we can start a discussion.
